7:45pm Update:
I decided I would write a little about my brief experiences with Pete so far.
Pete participated in a debate that I helped organize last Saturday with Utah U.S. Senate Candidates, which you can read about here. An amazing thing happened with this event. Pete had to be in Kanab the day of the debate and would not be able to make it back to Salt Lake to be there in person. So we decided that Pete would patch himself in via cyberspace technology. Not only did one Ashdown campaign volunteer show up, but there were three who worked diligently for about an hour to get everything working so that Pete could participate in the debate. It worked fabulously for the most part. I am very thankful that Pete had the equipment and know-how and the volunteers to do this. It definitely added a “different” component to the evening.
Most things Pete stated in the debate I agreed with. I especially liked hearing him state that he was against the Divine Strake test. I have since asked Pete if there is any way he can come to the Nevada Test site to participate in a big action I am helping to plan on Memorial Day weekend and if he can provide the resources to do a remote webcast from there (details about the action forthcoming….). I hope to hear from him soon on this. I’ve also encouraged him and the other U.S. Senate candidates to agree to future debates.
While I don’t officially endorse Pete’s campaign, as stated below, I think he’s great and has good ideas and philosophies. I’m glad he is running and has so many people behind him.

Today is “Pete Ashdown Blogswarm Day”. I will post the links here of blogs who post about Pete Ashdown, specifically why they support his campaign.
I will not be posting an article on “why I support Pete Ashdown” because I officially support the Desert Greens Green Party of Utah candidate,Julian Hatch for U.S. Senate. I think Pete’s a great guy, and I will support my fellow Utah bloggers by keeping this page updated with a link to the Pete Ashdown Blogswarm. Kudos to everyone who supports a change in our Utah U.S. Senator!
