As posted before, an International Day of Action has been planned for May 28th at the Nevada Test Site. I am on the organizing team for that event. It promises to be a well-attended event with people travelling from all over to attend.
Actions are being planned all over in solidarity with the Nevada Test Site Action:
Activists in St. George held a rally last Saturday, May 13th. About 100 people attended.
The Maine and Minnesota Greens are planning actions the 28th (I will post details about those as I get them).
In Salt Lake, there will be a vigil on the 28th on the sidewalk in front of the Federal Building from 5-7pm, organized by Green Jenni.
MacGregor Eddy of the Women’s International League for Peace and Freedom reports that WILPF has joined the coalition to STOP Divine (NOT!) invites people (especially in southern CA) to join them at Vandenberg Space Command this Saturday May 20. Andy Lichterman of the Western States Legal Foundation will give and update on the Ammonium Nitrate Fuel Oil (ANFO) explosion call Divine Strake. They will also have Que Keju of the Marshall Islands. The missiles from Vandenberg land at Kwajalein atoll in the Marshall Islands in the South Pacific.
