Tonight’s “debate” was a total success, albeit not very well attended. About 30 people attended to hear Utah U.S. Senate Candidates discuss the Iraq situation and other issues. While the evening began with all the candidates in clear harmony with their position on the Iraq War (exit now – although Pete Ashdown says leave it up to the Iraqi people….), it became increasingly obvious that there are other issues where there are divides, such as immigration.
Pete Ashdown’s volunteers were great in getting Pete patched in via cyberspace (Pete was in Kanab and participated via cyberspace – video, sound and everything! I was impressed!).
