I’m flying out of town today, headed to Maryland to be with my family for the holidays. I’ll be back Friday.
While I will have access to email, I’m not sure how much blogging I will actually do.
Here are some things I plan to do begin working on when I return and as I head into 2006:
Blog Stuff
Update my historical info page
Catch up on issues in the news and blog about them
Update my Gift Giving Page
Create a links page for polls I’d like to create
School stuff
Work on end of the quarter stuff for school
Work on getting ready for the next semester
Work on developing curriculum for a new class I am teaching on service learning. I will need to explore what community agencies will work with me. I also have developed projects for college students to work on in my school and will have to supervise them, so I’ll be preparing for that as well.
Personal stuff
Help my two boys prepare for moving out
Continue developing my gallery of original photographs in preparation for a possible display or show.
Work on sewing and crocheting, stenciling, jewelry-making and other craft projects I have designed.
Start planning with Tom what to plant in our garden this year.
Activist stuff
Delve back into helping get the Green Party of Utah‘s petition drive finished.
Gear up for a series of rallies that the Green Party of Utah is planning, the first one highlighting Julian Hatch’s campaign and anti-war stance.
Practice Radical Cheerleading.
Continue showing films at Free Speech Zone.
Continue my involvement in the weekly sidewalk vigils that I have been doing for the past 4 years.
So there are lots of projects, some listed above and some not, and I am looking forward to 2006.
