Updated: The project described below is the project of Triple Pundit
This was waiting for me in my emailbox when I opened it a few minutes ago:
A British blog called City Hippy has launched the “Carnival of the Green” which will post the best green entries of the week. You can send them entries for consideration or host the carnival for a week on your blog.
It looks interesting. All you green bloggers might want to join.

Carnival of the Green
Hiya…
Thanks for joining in the fun…just to say that the carnival is the work of myself and a fellow blogger: Triple Pundit (http://www.triplepundit.com)

Green Blogs
I guess you wouldn’t consider mine a “green blog” would you?
probably not. Hey we all want clean air and water, and free but fair trade. it’s just the way we go about it that we disagree.
Tell Tom Hi for me and let him know I would love to debate him sometime.
It would make a great story for my blog and probably yours too.
Let him know I was just kidding about the “pony tail
guy” thing. Remember I like poking fun at liberals and all but I don’t dislike liberals themselves. You guys seem really nice even though you are way out there liberals. It takes all kinds to make the world go around. Take care.
Peace, Love, and Rock & roll baby! (c;

Re: Green Blogs
Hi Ken!
Well, I’ll let you decide whether or not you meet the criteria for being a green blogger! Visit the website above (if you haven’t already) and read about it. If you feel you have a post to submit for publication that would fit, submit it!
Tom smiled when I mentioned a future debate. I think that would be fun, personally. I think we need to hear more debates here between liberals and conservatives. For one, I think it would be good to practice engaging in civil dialogue/debate and listening while practicing the concept of doing so in a neutral way.
Just a little background: I grew up in a republican family and my family remains republican. I helped my dad run for office three times for state house (in Maryland). Although my parents practiced and taught non-violence as a way of life, I still never felt like I fit in to the republican schema because I had different ideas so when I became voting age I registered first as republican, but then switched to no affiliation and I am now registered as a green, which fits my philosophies perfectly. So I have experienced a wide variety of the political spectrum so far in my life. Having said all of this, too, just fyi, my parents have told me they are very proud of the fact that I stand up for my principles.
And “ponytail guy” has become a phrase in our house……
🙂
Re: Green Blogs
I need to get a live Journal account so I don’t keep coming accross “Anonymous”.
ROFL That is so funny that the “Pony Tail Guy” remark has become part of your vocabulary. There may be hope for you yet. It is always good to see a liberal with a good sence of humor. So many take life way too seriously. As do many conservatives I would admit.
Well anyway I would love to debate, just let me know. I am chomping at the bit. Take care!! (c8
