Earth Jam has been rescheduled for this Saturday, October 1 in Salt Lake City. It was scheduled to be held in April on Earth Day weekend, but was rained out.
All organizations who had reserved tables for April have been contacted about the event this weekend. The Green Party of Utah rsvp’d right away and organizers of the event have worked with the GPUT on tabling placement in the park.
Word has it that the unaffiliated green party will be there tabling. They have the right to do that since they had reserved a table for the April event. Organizers have been informed by our party secretary that the Affiliated Green Party will not engage in confrontation, but could possibly be confronted in a conflicting way by the unaffiliated green party, based on past experience.
Interestingly enough, the unaffiliated party has no mention of this event on their website.
